About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Senior Community Manager to be the right hand to the Community Lead, helping to shape and grow our community. You will actively participate in various activities, ensuring our members are engaged and supported. As a pioneer and believer in Magic Square, you'll play a key role in driving our vision forward and building lasting connections. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help foster a thriving, dynamic community environment.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Publish community announcements and Hot Offer promotions, aligning with the tone of voice of Magic Square. Ensure proper emoji usage and formatting for specific social media platforms, including banners.
- Manage team assistance to ensure coverage when the manager is unavailable.
- Oversee the internal ambassadorship program, including feedback, assignment and supervision.
- Plan, host, and moderate community events across our social channels. Ensure there are at least four community events per week.
- Collaborate closely with the Community Lead to resolve user issues.
- Manage Discord server settings, integrations, and elevate permissions as needed.
- Assist the Community Lead with ongoing initiatives beyond typical social platform tasks.
- Foster a welcoming, engaging, and productive atmosphere within the community.
- Troubleshoot and support Discord bots, integrations, and other technical dependencies.
- Build rapport and relationships with users through meaningful interactions.
The ideal candidate - who you are and requirements:
- 2+ years of experience managing social platforms, including Discord.
- 3+ years of experience in community management.
- Familiar with industry-standard tools, SaaS platforms, and systems (e.g., Galxe).
- Basic technical skills are an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with async teams.
- Outstanding literacy in Web3
- Passionate about supporting the Web3 ecosystem and diverse communities.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Other languages are a plus.
- Willingness to work Central European Standard Time (CET).
